Tropical Gardens

Woburn’s Tropical Gardens extend throughout the vast majority of our resort and are a joined collaboration between our fellow landscape architect Tim Griffin and us, the owners- Elly and Franco.

The gardens have been sculpted into individual areas of arid plants consisting of cacti and succulents, a large region of tropical flora with Palms, flamboyant, bougainvilleas and various indigenous species of shrubs and trees. The trees provide shade and allow the sea breeze to cool the apartment interior balconies and verandas. This idyllic environment invites many birds such as the African Wag Tail, Egyptian Geese and long crested Heron who nest, feed and shelter within.

Elly constantly tends the gardens with her magic green fingers and replenishes it with new species of plants such as the eye captivating variety of hibiscus subspecies.

The overall look of Woburn's Tropical Gardens is a tranquil and beautiful experience with its luscious green landscape and intermittent colors of fragrant pink, red, yellow and blue flowers, to mention a few, that fill the spaces between our apartments, swimming pool and exteriors.
